In person Abstract/Text Art Pre-felting inspired by the masters Or go "off-piste" and use your own or other artists' imagery by Tabletop Workshops
Perfect for abstract paintings, using pre-felt be inspired by the Bauhaus weavers, Matisse cutouts or Braque birds to create your very own masterpiece. Or cut letter shapes and make a piece of text art!
Priced per participant. Please be aware my workshops need a minimum of three participants to run.
Taking place at Purr & Wag It HQ in Denmark Hill, this workshop starts at 2pm and runs until approximately 4.30-45pm.
You'll use scissors to cut/place different colours of pre felt atop a maximum A3 size pre-felt background. Then you'll use wet felting techniques to bring everything together to form your final pieces of work. Depending on the complexity of what you make you may have time to make a second A4 piece.
Chose from a selection of Georges Braque birds, Matisse Cut-outs imagery word art provided by me as inspiration or bring your own.
You will be prompted to choose a background colour when booking.
